ABILITY-TO-BENEFIT
TESTING & GED PREPARATION CLASSES
If an applicant is beyond the compulsory school attendance
age and seeks admission based on their ability to benefit (ATB), the
applicant must pass a federally-approved ATB examination.
PCI currently
uses the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test, which is approved by the U.S.
Department of Education.
PCI strongly recommends that any person who is not
a high school graduate and has not yet obtained the GED Certificate,
do so as soon as possible.
While a secondary school credential is not
a requirement to enroll at PCI, nor is it a requirement for graduation,
PCI feels that it can greatly enhance each person’s employment possibilities.
To assist any individuals seeking assistance in obtaining a GED, PCI
provides GED Preparation Classes. This training is offered at no cost
as a public service..
